Global Learning Education Officer
Salary: £25,951-27,688 pro rata
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (flexible working)
Based at: LWC offices, Toxteth TV, Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves education, can facilitate adult learning and is passionate about social justice. LWC exists to make world issues relevant to the lives of young people. We need an Education Officer to help us develop our relationships with schools and deliver training to those who work directly with young people. The Education Officer will create relationships with schools who are already part of our membership and those who are new to LWC or Global Learning. The role will be responsible for delivering LWC’s programme of Global Learning activities whilst meeting the needs of teachers and young people.
We’re looking for someone to join our small team who: enjoys communicating with educators, facilitating children and adults; can organise workshops; and has experience of creating educational resources. If you are interested please download the documents below, or contact the office.

Project Worker, and Maths Author
Leeds DEC is now recruiting for two new positions:
- A Project Worker for a new international Global Learning project working with secondary schools, based in their Leeds office.
- An experienced Secondary Maths teacher to work with them on a Global Learning Curriculum development project, working in collaboration with a group of Secondary Maths Teachers (working group already established).
