About TEESNet
TEESNet (Teacher Education for Equity and Sustainability Network) aims to develop a UK wide community of practice in Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship within teacher education in higher education and schools by sharing research and practice that develops new understanding across the sector in the UK and beyond.
TEESNet evolved from a collaboration between the WWF, Oxfam and teacher educators. Originally based at the Centre for Cross Curricular Initiatives at London South Bank University, management of the network transferred to Liverpool World Centre and Liverpool Hope University in 2014.
A UK wide network of teacher educators, we have over 300 members, and representation from across the from the four UK nations. Members and contributors include university and school based teacher education, teachers, NGOs, Development Education Centres and organisations such as the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and University Council for the Education of Teachers (UCET).
