Liverpool World Centre created a suite of teacher resources to accompany Nuclear Test Veterans – An Oral History a project by the Universities of Liverpool & South Wales.
The resources consist of three short lessons designed to:
- open up conversations about power, peace, equality, coloniality and nature.
- explore oral histories
- uncover personal stories from the Cold War nuclear arms race
NTV Teaching Pack Introduction
The resources provide educators with the tools to deliver three workshop/lesson sessions. Each session has everything you will need: teaching notes, slides and additional activity resources.
The resources will be published alongside the essays and audio clips and an accompanying comic by Gareth Sleightholme on the British Library website in the future. In the meantime please contact karen@liverpoolworldcentre.org to request the full resource pack.
